A Warm Heart of The City

The first really balmy summer June day in San Francisco on Sunday was a surprising delight. At the Heart of the City Farmers Market, a decent looking en plein air painter was working in the middle of the public esplenade and offering a few small oil paintings for sale at best offer prices.

Right next to the painter, the Clangin' and Bangin' duo of Kirby Lee Hammel and Jake Alexander were playing their hearts out, and offering a CD of their work for $3. It's a steal at ten times the price.

This is exactly the reason why I love San Francisco. Nice stolen shots! :)
