A small crowd was clustered on the front stairs of the California Supreme Court building on McAllister Street last week, and I stopped to check if they were protesting something.
As it turned out, the group was from Fresno State University on their annual San Francisco field trip to see the California Supreme Court in action.
"Can anyone just walk into the Supreme Court proceedings?" I asked, and one of the teachers assured me that was the case. If interested in seeing high-level judicial action in person, click here for the California Supreme Court website.
