Asian Heritage Street Celebration 2: From Snakes to Breakdancing
At a nature booth, a guide was hanging out with a large snake...
...while sharing another snake with a young fairgoer who looked enchanted.
Though phobic about snakes all my life, I have also known lots of (mostly) boys of all ages who are fascinated by the creatures.
A national hip-hop dance foundation called "Allthewaylive" was giving a breakdancing presentation in the middle of the street...
...and it was a treat seeing the racial cultures so mixed up.
This was equally true in front of the stage at Civic Center...
...where a baby hip-hop boy kept throwing himself into the street for improvised dance routines.
