A graffiti style mural went up in two days last week on a large wall at Hayes and Octavia that has been confusing everyone in the neighborhood.

"What does 'BRIG HTERFA STER' supposed to mean?" seems to be the first question.

With a little internet research, it turned out to be the work of Ben Eine, a London-based artist who's been working with Banksy for years, and he's currently covering San Francisco with the English alphabet and Happy Faces. Click here for an entertaining interview at the Larkin Street White Walls gallery where you can currently buy his work.
