A new Burning Man sculptural installation called Future's Past arrived at Patricia's Green at Hayes and Octavia on Thursday evening.
There was a Black Rock Arts Foundation party to celebrate the installation that included music from the four cellists above.
The 24-foot metal sculpture by the New York based Kate Raudenbush first appeared at the Burning Man Festival in 2010, and supposedly "tells a story of civilization being reclaimed by nature."
You can walk inside the temple...
...where there is a mirror in the center...
...reflecting the lighting coil on the roof...
...and the beautiful metal latticework that makes everyone, even Paul Romito above, look mysterious.
Reminds me of Miyazaki's Castle in the Sky
