The Patrick Dougherty wooden sculpture on Civic Center Plaza continues to be built through some seriously inclement weather.
It's a good thing nobody has been blown off the scaffolding over the last week...
...or fallen out of the sycamore trees.
As a commenter on this blog pointed out, the sculpture has an "aliveness" to it...
...that is palpable when you see it in person...
...and the densely woven saplings and twigs have their own living reality.
It's also a treat to walk through the Civic Center and see people actually loving their work.
