There was an annual homoeowners association meeting in Palm Springs to attend last weekend at the ten-unit complex where my partner Tony bought a unit a couple of years ago.
The meeting was filled with the usual drama and internecine wars that these kind of affairs entail, and I wisely kept out of the fray.
The ridiculous drama was worth it, however, because Palm Springs was strikingly beautiful all over again.
Also, our 51 palm trees looked very happy...
...as they greeted the dawn.

I always liked palm springs and that area...it is so surreal. Did you see the episode of Mad Men when Don went to Palm Springs? awesome!
