The Sharp Fox Grows Up

Sharp Park municipal golf course is in downtown Pacifica but is part of the sprawling San Francisco Recreation and Park empire, which is embroiled in lawsuits about the course from environmental legal extortionists spearheaded by the Arizona-based Center for Biological Diversity.

I golfed there on Sunday morning as a guest of the mobile phone photoblogger Mike Wallach, who has been covering the Sharp Park morass for some time (click here).

On the seventeenth tee, a fox who looked like a grown-up version of the animal I'd seen two years ago (click here) walked over and checked us out, probably looking for food.

There was signage at the starter's window stating, "DO NOT FEED THE FOXES!" so we didn't, but it was certainly tempting.

Great pictures of the animal and a very tantalizing headline.

Dear Matty: Thanks for the compliment on the photos, and the headline was not even remotely intended to hint at the salacious. Though now that you've pointed it out, I can definitely see what you mean. Does this mean I'm going to be getting more weird Google traffic?

I didn't actually mean salacious, I just meant I had little idea what the story would be about and was interested to find out. I even thought the Sharp Fox might be a nickname for Tiger.
